提摩太後書(2 Timothy) 2:14-15

提摩太後書(2 Timothy) 2:14 你要使眾人回想這些事，在主面前囑咐他們：不可為言語爭辯；這是沒有益處的，只能敗壞聽見的人。

2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

2:15 你當竭力在神面前得蒙喜悅，作無愧的工人，按着正意分解真理的道。

2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Subvert: 顛覆

（耶利米哀歌(Lamentations) 3:36 或在人的訟事上顛倒是非，這都是主看不上的。

3:36 To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.）

Divide: 分開（分為二，as “di“ in dilemma, dioxide, dipole)

創世記(Genesis) 1:4 神看光是好的，就把光暗分開了。

1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

1:6 神說：「諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。」

1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:7 神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。

1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

1:14 神說：「天上要有光體，可以分晝夜，作記號，定節令、日子、年歲，

1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

1:18 管理晝夜，分別明暗。神看着是好的。

1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

The word of truth

詩篇(Psalm) 119:43 求你叫真理的話總不離開我口，因我仰望你的典章。

119:43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

哥林多後書(2 Corinthians) 6:7 真實的道理、神的大能；仁義的兵器在左在右；

6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

以弗所書(Ephesians) 1:13 你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。

1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

雅各書(James) 1:18 他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。

1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

啟示錄(Revelation) 1:16 他右手拿着七星，從他口中出來一把兩刃的利劍；面貌如同烈日放光。

1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
