馬太福音(Matthew) 8:30 離他們很遠，有一大羣豬吃食。

8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

• 豬在遠處吃食，並不倒嚼。

利未記(Leviticus) 11:7 豬－因為蹄分兩瓣，卻不倒嚼，就與你們不潔淨。

11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

詩篇(Psalm) 1:2 惟喜愛耶和華的律法，**晝夜思想**，這人便為有福！

1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

箴言 11:22 婦女美貌而無見識，如同金環帶在豬鼻上。

• 牠用腳踐踏，轉過來咬。

馬太福音(Matthew) 7:6 不要把聖物給狗，也不要把你們的珍珠丟在豬前，恐怕牠踐踏了珍珠，轉過來咬你們。」

• 豬洗淨了又回到泥裏去滾。

馬太福音(Matthew) 8:31 鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬羣吧！」

8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

彼得後書 2:22 俗語說得真不錯：狗所吐的，牠轉過來又吃；豬洗淨了又回到泥裏去滾；這話在他們身上正合式。

馬太福音 12:43 「污鬼離了人身，就**在無水之地過來過去**，尋求安歇之處，卻尋不着。

12:44 於是說：『我要回到我所出來的屋裏去。』到了，就看見裏面空閒，打掃乾淨，修飾好了，

12:45 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來，都進去住在那裏。那人末後的景況比先前更不好了。這邪惡的世代也要如此。」

路加福音(Luke) 8:30 耶穌問他說：「你名叫甚麼？」他說：**「我名叫『羣』」**；這是因為附着他的鬼多。

8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

• 魔鬼在無水之地沒有安歇之處；牠的境界在海中。

8:32 耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬羣。全羣忽然闖下山崖，投在海裏淹死了。

8:32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

以西結書(Ezekiel) 27:2 「人子啊，要為泰爾作起哀歌，

27:4 你的境界在海中，造你的使你全然美麗。

27:4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

創世記(Genesis) 1:9 神說：「天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來。」事就這樣成了。

1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

撒母耳記下(2 Samuel) 22:16 耶和華的斥責一發，鼻孔的氣一出，海底就出現，大地的根基也顯露。

22:16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
