創世記(Genesis) 1:6 the firmament

創世記(Genesis) 1:6 神說：「諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。」

1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:7 神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。

1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

1:8 神稱空氣為「天」。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。

1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

1:9 神說：「天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來。」事就這樣成了。

1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

1:10 神稱旱地為「地」，稱水的聚處為「海」。神看着是好的。

1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

• 空氣 firmament：蒼穹，神稱它為「天」

七日中第二日造出，唯一一日神沒有說“看着是好的。”

第三層天才是好的：

哥林多後書 12:2 我認得一個在基督裏的人，他前十四年被提到第三層天上去；（或在身內，我不知道；或在身外，我也不知道；只有神知道。）

還有一種天：

以弗所書(Ephesians) 2:2 那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。

2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

• 水被這蒼穹分為兩種：空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水

空氣以下的水：水的聚處為「海」 （以後就不再有了）。

啟示錄(Revelation) 21:1 我又看見一個新天新地；因為先前的天地已經過去了，海也不再有了。

21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

以賽亞書(Isaiah) 57:20 惟獨惡人，好像翻騰的海，不得平靜；其中的水常湧出污穢和淤泥來。

57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

空氣以上的水：

啟示錄(Revelation) 22:1 天使又指示我在城內街道當中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來。

22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
