創世記(Genesis) 8:6 過了四十天，挪亞開了方舟的窗戶，

8:6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

8:7 放出一隻烏鴉去；那烏鴉飛來飛去，直到地上的水都乾了。

8:7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

(數字40: 馬可福音 1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。）

• 烏鴉: 可憎、不可吃的

利未記(Leviticus) 11:13 「雀鳥中你們**當以為可憎、不可吃的** 乃是：鵰、狗頭鵰、紅頭鵰、

11:15 烏鴉與其類；

11:15 Every raven after his kind;

• 他行動像撒旦、壯馬、蝗蟲，飛來飛去went forth to and fro 尋找可吃的

約伯記(Job) 38:41 烏鴉之雛因無食物飛來飛去，哀告神；那時，誰為牠預備食物呢？

38:41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

約伯記(Job) 1:7 耶和華問撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」

1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

撒迦利亞書 6:7 壯馬出來，要在遍地走來走去。天使說：「你們只管在遍地走來走去。」牠們就照樣行了。

以賽亞書(Isaiah) 33:4 你們所擄的必被斂盡，好像螞蚱吃（原文是斂）盡禾稼。人要蹦在其上，好像蝗蟲一樣。

33:4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

約珥書(Joel) 2:9 牠們蹦上城，躥上牆，爬上房屋，進入窗戶如同盜賊。

2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

阿摩司書(Amos) 8:12 他們必飄流，從這海到那海，從北邊到東邊，往來奔跑，尋求耶和華的話，卻尋不着。

8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

彼得前書(1 Peter) 5:8 務要謹守，警醒。因為你們的仇敵魔鬼，如同吼叫的獅子，遍地遊行，尋找可吞吃的人。

5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

• 他不撒種也不收割

路加福音 12:24 你想烏鴉，也不種也不收，又沒有倉又沒有庫，神尚且養活牠。你們比飛鳥是何等地貴重呢！

Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

(Ravens 在馬太福音6:26 也稱fowls: Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?)

• 但他也**可被神使用（不等於它不再是可憎、不可吃的）**

列王記上 17:4 你要喝那溪裏的水，我已吩咐烏鴉在那裏供養你。」

17:5 於是以利亞照着耶和華的話，去住在約旦河東的基立溪旁。

馬太福音 7:22 當那日必有許多人對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行許多異能嗎？』

7:23 我就明明地告訴他們說：『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人，離開我去吧！』」

以賽亞書(Isaiah) 10:5 亞述是我怒氣的棍，手中拿我惱恨的杖。

10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

10:12 主在錫安山和耶路撒冷成就他一切工作的時候，主說：「我必罰亞述王自大的心和他高傲眼目的榮耀。」

10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the LORD hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
