創世記(Genesis) 15:1-6 耶和華神給亞伯拉罕的第三個命令和祝福

（一） 命令：不要懼怕 （要得天上的眾星之前必有爭戰；他們必要從死裏復活）

創世記(Genesis) 15:1 這事以後，耶和華在異象中有話對亞伯蘭說：「亞伯蘭，你**不要懼怕**！我是你的盾牌，必大大地賞賜你。」

15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

（二） 祝福：你的後裔必如天上的眾星那樣多

15:5 於是領他走到外邊，說：「你向天觀看，數算眾星，能數得過來嗎？」又對他說：「你的後裔將要如此。」

15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

15:6 亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此為他的義。

15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

• 同樣的祝福也賜給了以撒

創世記 26:2 耶和華向以撒顯現，說：「你不要下埃及去，要住在我所指示你的地。

26:3 你寄居在這地，我必與你同在，賜福給你，因為我要將這些地都賜給你和你的後裔。我必堅定我向你父亞伯拉罕所起的誓。

26:4 我要加增你的後裔，**像天上的星那樣多**，又要將這些地都賜給你的後裔。並且地上萬國必因你的後裔得福－

希伯來書 11:18 論到這兒子，曾有話說：「**從以撒生的才要稱為你的後裔**。」

11:19 他以為神還能叫人從死裏復活；他也彷彿從死中得回他的兒子來。

創世記 15:4 耶和華又有話對他說：「這人必不成為你的後嗣；**你本身所生的才成為你的後嗣**。」

15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

約翰福音(John) 3:4 尼哥德慕說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」

3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

（“如地上的塵沙那樣多”的祝福給了雅各:

創世記(Genesis) 28:13 耶和華站在梯子以上（或譯：站在他旁邊），說：「我是耶和華－你祖亞伯拉罕的神，也是以撒的神；我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔。

28:14 你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那樣多，必向東西南北開展；地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福。)
