創世記(Genesis) 19:26 羅得的妻子在後邊回頭一看，就變成了一根鹽柱。

19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

民數記(Numbers) 18:19 凡以色列人所獻給耶和華聖物中的舉祭，我都賜給你和你的兒女，當作永得的分。這是給你和你的後裔、在耶和華面前作為**永遠的鹽約（鹽就是不廢壞的意思）**。」
