創世記(Genesis) 2 the sabbath day

創世記(Genesis) 2:2 到第七日，神造物的工已經完畢，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。

2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

2:3 神賜福給第七日，定為聖日；因為在這日，神歇了他一切創造的工，就安息了。

2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

• 神在安息日中歇了他一切創造的工；到那日，人子（安息日的主）做父所做的事。

約翰福音(John) 5:17 耶穌就對他們說：「我父做事直到如今，我也做事。」

5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

5:19 耶穌對他們說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，子憑着自己不能做甚麼，惟有看見父所做的，子才能做；父所做的事，子也照樣做。

5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

馬太福音(Matthew) 12:8 因為人子是安息日的主。」

12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

人子又說：

約翰福音(John) 14:12 我實實在在地告訴你們，**我所做的事，信我的人也要做，並且要做比這更大的事，因為我往父那裏去**。

14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

• 基督徒能做更大的事，是因人子到父那裏去，並且他們在子裏面，子又在父裏面。

約翰福音(John) 16:7 然而，我將真情告訴你們，我去是與你們有益的；我若不去，保惠師就不到你們這裏來；我若去，就差他來。

希伯來書4:3 但我們已經相信的人得以進入那安息，正如神所說：「我在怒中起誓說：『他們斷不可進入我的安息！』」其實造物之工，從創世以來已經成全了。

4:4 論到第七日，有一處說：「到第七日，神就歇了他一切的工。」

4:10 因為那進入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如神歇了他的工一樣。

4:11 所以，我們務必竭力進入那安息，免得有人學那不信從的樣子跌倒了。

約翰福音(John) 14:20 到那日，你們就知道我在父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。

詩篇(Psalm) 2:12 當以嘴親子，恐怕他發怒，你們便在道中滅亡，因為他的怒氣快要發作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
