創世記(Genesis) 6:4 那時候有偉人在地上，後來神的兒子們和人的女子們交合生子；那就是上古英武有名的人。

6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

• 偉人 giants: 巨人

民數記(Numbers) 13:17 摩西打發他們去窺探迦南地，說：「你們從南地上山地去，

13:18 看那地如何，其中所住的民是強是弱，是多是少，

13:32 探子中有人論到所窺探之地，向以色列人報惡信，說：「我們所窺探、經過之地是吞吃居民之地，我們在那裏所看見的人民都身量高大。

13:33 我們在那裏看見亞衲族人，就是偉人；他們是偉人的後裔。據我們看，**自己就如蚱蜢一樣**；據他們看，我們也是如此。」

13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

mighty men which were of old, men of renown

創世記(Genesis) 10:8 古實又生寧錄，他為世上英雄之首。

10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

創世記 10:6 含的兒子是古實、麥西、弗、迦南。

民數記 12:1 摩西娶了古實女子為妻。米利暗和亞倫因他所娶的古實女子就毀謗他，說：

耶利米書 13:23 古實人豈能改變皮膚呢？豹豈能改變斑點呢？若能，你們這習慣行惡的便能行善了。

那鴻書(Nahum) 3:4 都因那美貌的妓女多有淫行，慣行邪術，藉淫行誘惑列國，用邪術誘惑（原文是賣）多族。

3:9 古實和埃及是她無窮的力量；弗人和路比族是她的幫手。
