創世記(Genesis) 8:8 他又放出一隻鴿子去，要看看水從地上退了沒有。

8:8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

• 她的翅膀鍍白銀（救贖），翎毛鍍黃金（信心），能飛到安息之所。

詩篇(Psalm) 68:13 你們安臥在羊圈的時候，好像鴿子的翅膀鍍白銀，翎毛鍍黃金一般。

68:13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

詩篇(Psalm) 55:6 我說：但願我有翅膀像鴿子，我就飛去，得享安息。

55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

• 她的眼甚美麗，用奶洗淨，安得合式

雅歌 1:15 我的佳偶，你甚美麗！你甚美麗！你的眼好像鴿子眼。

• 她是聖靈的象徵，飛來如雲，在狼群中馴良（harmlessly)做工。

馬太福音 3:16 耶穌受了洗，隨即從水裏上來。天忽然為他開了，他就看見神的靈彷彿鴿子降下，落在他身上。

以賽亞書 60:8 那些飛來如雲、又如鴿子向窗戶飛回的是誰呢？

馬太福音 10:16 「我差你們去，如同羊進入狼羣；所以你們要靈巧像蛇，馴良像鴿子。

10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

• 她尋找乾地，要看看水從地上退了沒有。

8:9 但遍地上都是水，鴿子找不着落腳之地，就回到方舟挪亞那裏，挪亞伸手把鴿子接進方舟來。

8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

約翰福音 14:17 就是真理的聖靈，乃世人不能接受的；因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。

約翰福音 1:5 光照在黑暗裏，黑暗卻不接受光。

出埃及記(Exodus) 14:16 你舉手向海伸杖，把水分開。以色列人要下海中走乾地。

14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

8:10 他又等了七天，再把鴿子從方舟放出去。

8:10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

8:11 到了晚上，鴿子回到他那裏，嘴裏叼着一個新擰下來的橄欖葉子，挪亞就知道地上的水退了。

8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

雅各書 1:18 他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。

馬太福音 24:3 耶穌在橄欖山上坐着，門徒暗暗地來說：「請告訴我們，甚麼時候有這些事？你降臨和世界的末了有甚麼預兆呢？」

24:32 「你們可以從無花果樹學個比方：當樹枝發嫩長葉的時候，你們就知道夏天近了。

24:33 這樣，你們看見這一切的事，也該知道人子近了，正在門口了。

• 最後，她出去，就不再回來了

8:12 他**又等了七天**，放出鴿子去，鴿子就不再回來了。

8:12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

詩篇 55:6 我說：但願我有翅膀像鴿子，**我就飛去，得享安息**。

彼得前書(1 Peter) 2:9 惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們**出黑暗入奇妙光明**者的美德。

2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

帖撒羅尼迦前書 4:17 以後我們這活着還存留的人必和他們**一同被提到雲裏，在空中與主相遇**。這樣，我們就要和主永遠同在。

創世記 2:2 到第七日，神造物的工已經完畢，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。

出埃及記 16:30 於是百姓第七天安息了。

利未記 12:3 第八天，要給嬰孩行割禮。
